We offer free learning support in the qathet Regional District in-person or online with Zora Soprovich, Writing Centre and Learning Hub Tutor.
Get help with anything course-related, including:

- getting started on your assignments
- doing research
- documenting your sources using APA or MLA style
- revising your writing
- improving your grammar
- staying on track
- looking over course outlines and navigating VIULearn

In addition to drop-in hours, Writing Centre support is available by appointment for face-to-face meetings (on campus or at Ahms Tah Ow), e-tutoring and Teams meetings.
Writing Centre (Nanaimo campus)
The Writing Centre in Nanaimo offers additional services including online writing help and tutorials on a variety of topics. Choose an online tutor for a live video chat or an e-tutor option where you can include a document when making your appointment then receive it back with written feedback.
