International Students
International students (non-Canadian residents) are encouraged to apply to this program as it would be of great benefit to those individuals looking to begin or advance their careers as technical writers.
Cost for International Students
Students pay by course with the price per course (total of 8 courses) ranging from $339 CDN to $489 CDN. The total cost for 8 courses could range from $3548 CDN to $3784 depending on course selection. For the cost of each course, please see the the individual course descriptions.
International Student Admissions
Students must have graduated from high school (Grade 12 or its equivalent) and meet the minimum language requirements (TOEFL 550/213, IELTS 6.0, CAEL 60). As well, students entering the program must possess basic computer skills. See the Prerequisites page for further information about the computer basics requirement.
International students must apply by submitting an international application form (either on-line or hard copy). The application fee for International Students is $150 CAD. For further information please contact International admissions at: study@viu.ca
Once accepted into the program, international students can register for courses.
