Basic Drafting Skills
Even though most construction and presentation drawings today are done on computers, an understanding of hand drafting is still important to a drafter/designer, since the initial ideas and concepts are still sketched out by hand. This introductory course will outline some of the basic techniques and terminology used for hand sketching and basic drafting. The student will be expected to complete sketching exercises and a final project. This course will be completed by hand, not with a CAD software program. This course satisfies the prerequisite for AutoCAD Basics. Prerequisites: None.
